Apple confirmed on Tuesday that it plans to build a second data center in Prineville, Oregon. The Cupertino-based company will build the server farm on a 160-acre piece of land it purchased for $5.6 million, reports KTVZ News. “We purchased the land and it’s for a data center,” Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet said. Hewlett-Packard on Wednesday reported its fiscal first-quarter earnings, which fell short of Wall Street’s expectations. According to a leaked accessory sheet, the HTC Ville and Huawei Prism are headed to T-Mobile in the U.S. The sheet, a screenshot of which was obtained by TmoNews, provides little information outside of device names and “warehouse arrival” dates for various accessories.
